Monday: T.L.W.read and discuss Changing the Constitution p. 259-261. Describe how to amend the Constitution. Name the rights that the Bill of Rights protects. Explain howlater amendments expanded democratic rights. Remember: Reasonable people can disagree. Create a concept web around the topic Equality in the U.S. Enter as many examples as you can including negative and positive ones. Homework Section #3 Assessemnt p. 261 (1-5) L2
Tuesday: T.L. W. Read and discuss State and Local Governments p. 262-264. Copy the incomplete Venn Diagram and as you read write down key services provided by the state and local governments. Include shared services in the overlapping sections. How do local governments affect our daily lives. Homework: Bring a newspaper article about government decisions to class this week. Label the article federal, state, or local government rulings. L2
