Mrs, Brewer’s Homeroom has adopted a Christmas Angel to buy for through Student Council. All unwrapped gifts and or Money needs to be at school by Nov. 30th. The Salvation Army will send a pick up truck to the school on Dec. 1.
Our Christmas angel is Euginia, age 5. She would like a 12” bike, some learning toys, and clothes. Her size is 6 in coat, pants, shirt, and sweater. Her shoe size is 1. Please send money or purchase a gift this Chirstmas for someone in need. Money suggestion is $5.00.

Monday:T.L.W. continue with the study of Chapt. 9 “Creating a Foreign Policy” p. 284-286. 1) Describe how American opinion was divided over the French Revolution. 2) Explain why Washington wanted the nation to remain neutral in foreign affairs.
3) Discuss wy it was difficult for the U.S. to remain neutral. 4)What does the word Neutrality mean? 5) How did the storming of the Bastille appeal to many Americans?

Tuesday: T.L.W. read and discuss how “Political Parties Emerged” p. 287-290. 1) Why did many Americans distrust the idea of political parties? 2) How did the views of Hamilton and Jefferson differ? 3) Why did political parties develop? 4)How did the election of 1796 increase political tensions?
