Monday:T.L.W. meet homeroom and 1st period class. Go over procedures. Get seating assignments. Issue textbooks, lockers, and make a bus dismissal list. Students will receive schedules. Take notes on procedures and what is expected from each teacher. Go over discipline plans. There will be no MAPS.
Tuesday: meet 3rd, 4th and 5th periods. Go over procedures to make a successful start for the school year. Please purchase supplies ASAP. Take notes on procedures and items needed for each period. Go over discipline plan. There will be no MAPS. Go over Getting Started p. 105 Chapt. #3 (1-22). Define vocabulary for Chapt. 3. 7.1.11
Wednesday:T.L.W. run the first day of scheduled classes. Know your schedule. Review the math textbook by answering questions on p. 105. Remember: you must show your work to get full credit for your answers. 7.1.11
Thursday:T.L.W. complete Ordering Integers and Absolute Value of a number. Make foldable study organizer Bring art supplies. Homework p. 134. 7.1.4
Friday: T.L.W. be quized on procedures expected. Check to see if all textbooks are covered and notebooks are set up correctly.Please have your 3 ring binder and 2 dividers for math. Study your vocabulary and notes taken this week. Complete worksheet provided. 7.1.11, 7.1.3.5;4.2;7.1.4
Geography

Aug. 13-17, 2007

Monday: T.L.W. not meet Geography class. We will go over breaks such as restroom, traveling in hallways, locker times etc.
Tuesday: T.L.W. go over class procedures and take notes on text. Scavenger Hunt on Textbook and go over the atlas and Student Handbook at the begining of the text. Wednesday: T.L.W. complete the Introduction to the geography text. Why do we study geography? Discuss all of the areas of Social Studies.
Thursday: T.L.W. study section #1. How does the movement of the Earth around the sun affect our environment? What is the effect of latitude on climate?

Visually show on your person the 5 areas of the globe. Artic Circle, Tropic of Cancer, Equator, Tropic of Capricorn, Antarctic Circle.

Friday: T.L.W. complete quiz on procedures studied this week. Check to see if textbook is covered and notebook is set up.
