Draw the map p. 271 and label A-J. Bring art supplies to class to color Map.

Wednesday: T.L.W. read and discussThe Russian Heartland p. 361-363.  What are the four characteristics of the regions of European Rusia?  What are smelters?  Map Activity fot Chapt. 17.  Bring workbook to class.

Thursday: T.L.W. read and discuss Siberia- the Sleeping Land. p. 364-366 Section #4 Review p. 366- (1-5).

Friday; T.L.W. read and discuss The Russian Far East p. 367-369. Homework Review of Chapt.17 p. 370 - Vocab, Reviewing The Main Ideas and Thinking Critically.
