Friday: T.L.W. find the number of combinations of a set of objects. Text p., 387-390. 7.5 tpi.6.

Tuesday: T.L.W. read and discuss Russia p. 351-360.  Section #2 Review p. 360 (1-5).  What was Russia’s early History like?  how did the Russian Empire grow and then fall?  What was the Soviet Union?  What is Russia like today? Draw the map p. 271 and label A-J. Bring art supplies to class to color Map.

Wednesday: T.L.W. read and discussThe Russian Heartland p. 361-363.  What are the four characteristics of the regions of European Rusia?  What are smelters?  Map Activity fot Chapt. 17.  Bring workbook to class.

Thursday: T.L.W. read and discuss Siberia- the Sleeping Land. p. 364-366 Section #4 Review p. 366- (1-5).

Friday; T.L.W. read and discuss The Russian Far East p. 367-369. Homework Review of Chapt.17 p. 370 – Vocab, Reviewing The Main Ideas and Thinking Critically.
